NORFOLK - Carrie Hunter Johnson, of the 800 block of Rugby St., a retired Clerk,
died February 10, 1989, in a hospital.

Mrs. Johnson, a native of Franklin, was the widow of Thomas E. Johnson. She was a
member of Campostella Heights Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include a son, Thomas E. Johnson Jr. of Norfolk; two sisters, Linnace H.
Dozier and Freddie L. Hunter, both of Philadelphia; three brothers, Theopulis M.
Hunter and Samuel L. Hunter, both of Suffolk, and Harold C. Hunter of Philadelphia;
four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday in Campostella Height Seventh Day Adventist
Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery Community Funeral Home, Norfolk, is
handling arrangements. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Friday.
