NORFOLK - Anthony J. Johnson of 2706 Woodland Ave., a native of Norfolk, died
Wednesday in a hospital.

Mr. Johnson had retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier after 40
years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the New Deal Bridge Club and
the What's Social and Civic Club.

Survivors include his wife, Imelda W. Johnson, and a brother, James H. Johnson of
Norfolk.

A Holy Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's
Catholic Church by the Rev. Thomas J. Quinlan. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

A christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in Jones Funeral Chapel.
Memorial donations may be sent to the St. Mary's restoration fund.
