NORFOLK - Barbara C. Johnson of 6516 Pasture Court, a native of Norfolk, died
Wednesday in a hospital.

Mrs. Johnson was employed in the housekeeping department of Norfolk State
University. She was a member of Mount Sinai Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she
served as church secretary and superintendent of the Sunday school.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Johnson Sr.; her mother Margaret Ruffin; two
sons, Earl D. Johnson and Thronton L. Johnson, both of Norfolk; and a grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Mount Sinai Pentecostal Holiness
Church by Bishop E.D. Smith. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home
is in charge.

The family will be at the residence.
