NORFOLK - Mrs. Mattie C. Johnson of 1272 Dusche Ave., a native of Norfolk and the
widow of Johnnie Johnson, died Wednesday in a hospital.

She was retired from Myers Oyster house and was a member of C.H. Mason Memorial
Church of God in Christ and its Usher Board, of which she was president. She was a
member also of Senior Citizens Club.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Elousie Ruffin of New York.

A funeral will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. in C.H. Mason Memorial Church of God in
Christ by elder David Williams. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, with Graves
Funeral Home in charge. The family will be at her home.
