Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch November 23, 1959
MRS. ADOLPHINA LORENSEN JOHNSON; 94, widow of Capt. John Johnson, died at a 
Fredericksburg hospital Monday at 12:10 a.m.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles C. Richardson and Mrs. Ellis B. 
Hilton, both of Norfolk, a son, John O. Johnson, of Williamsburg, five 
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Johnson was a native of Gothenburg, Sweden, and had been a resident of 
Norfolk for 70 years, residing at 219 East 39th Street, Riverview.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Wednesday at 
1 a.m. (sic) Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
