DEATH OF A POPULAR YOUNG MAN.
The many friends of Mr. Bruce F. Johnson will be pained to learn of his death at 
the residence of his father, at the corner of Bank and Wolf streets, last 
evening at 6:30 o'clock, from paralysis of the lower limbs, superinduced by a 
fall received a few days ago. The deceased was a son of Captain Wm. Y. Johnson, 
and was in the thirty-third year of his age. He was a member of Norfolk Lodge 
No. 38, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, which organization will, in a 
body, attend his funeral which will be announced tomorrow.

The funeral of the late Bruce F. Johnson will take place from the residence of 
his father today at 12 M.
