Norfolk Virginian January 1, 1888
JOHNSTON (sic) - Friday night, December 30th, suddenly, FRANCIS A. JOHNSTON (sic), 
in the 68th year of his age.
The funeral will take place THIS (Sunday) AFTERNOON from the residence of Mr. 
William C. Barnes, No. 5 Plume street, corner Avon, at 2 o'clock. Friends and 
acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend.
