Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch December 2, 1950
Judge Branch Johnson - Funeral services for Judge Johnson, of Richmond's Civil 
Justice Court, and a former Norfolk attorney, who died Thursday, were conducted 
yesterday at 11 a.m. at St. James Episcopal Church, in Richmond, by the Rev. 
Churchill Gibson, rector.
Pallbearers, all nephews, were Thomas G. Johnson, James P. Johnson and John S. 
Johnson, of Norfolk, and Charles Cecil Hall, Charles Cecil Hall, Jr., Charles 
Edward Hall, Howard Gillis and Stuart Cottrell, of Richmond.
Graveside services were conducted here yesterday at 4 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery by 
the Rev. W. Taylor Willis, rector of Christ and St. Luke's Church. Pallbearers 
were the same as in Richmond.
