JOHNSON, ROBERT - In this city, Tuesday, January 21, 1919, at 10:30 o'clock 
p.m., ROBERT JOHNSON, in the 59th year of his age.
Notice of funeral later.
                         FUNERAL OF MR. JOHNSON
The funeral of Robert Johnson took place this afternoon at the home of his son-
in-law, M. L. T. Davis, 711 Redgate avenue, and was largely attended, being 
conducted by his lifelong friend, Rev. Daniel T. Merritt, Methodist camp pastor 
here, assisted by Rev. S. T. Senter, D.D., of Epworth Methodist church. There 
were many floral offerings, the casket being covered with a beautiful floral 
pall of smilax, Easter lilies and pink roses. The burial was in Elmwood, the 
pallbearers being Stephen Ford, R. E. Thrasher, A. B. Carr, P. F. Williams, C. 
E. Herbert, Thomas Thrasher.
