NORFOLK — Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Butt Johnson, 67, the widow of Ernest L. Johnson 
Sr., died in her home at 1826 Kingston Ave., Apt. 104-A., Tuesday night.
She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, and a member of Ocean View Baptist 
Church.
She is survived by two sons, Ernest L. Johnson Jr. of Virginia Beach and William 
J. Johnson of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth J. Harrison of 
Virginia Beach; a brother, Raymond M. Butt of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. 
Margaret Aycock of Norfolk, and Mrs. Eula Mae Jaiser of Virginia Beach; and nine 
grandchildren.
The body was taken to Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside.
The family will be at the home of Mrs. Harrison, 615 Independence Blvd., 
Virginia Beach.
