                         FUNERAL OF MRS. JOHNSON
The funeral of Mrs. Susan Johnson, who died early yesterday morning at her home, 
1037 Bermuda street, aged 56 years, will take place this afternoon at 3 o'clock, 
and will be conducted by Rev. J. L. Bray of Cumberland street M. E. church. Burial 
will be in Elmwood cemetery. A native of North Carolina, Mrs. Johnson had lived 
here twenty-five years, was well-known and greatly esteemed. She is survived by a 
daughter, Mrs. Mamie Trower; a sister, Mrs. Francis Coombs, and a stepson, P. R. 
Johnson, all of Norfolk.
