A funeral service will  be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Guiding Light Apostolic
Church for Mrs. Virgie Johnson of 642 Reservoir avenue, who died in a local
hospital Sep 2.

A native of Southampton county, Mrs. Johnson was a member, Guiding Light church.
 The eulogy will be delivered by Elder W. L. Lamb.  Burial will be under
direction of Morning Glory Funeral Home.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Helen Mimms of Newport News;  a
brother, Horace Everett of Waverly;  and three grandchildren.
