Virginian Pilot April 30, 1960

Edward Whitehurst Johnson, 79, son of Joshua C. and Mrs. Caroline Harrison 
Johnson, died unexpectedly Friday at his home, 3007 Montana Ave.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth J. Rawlings of Norfolk and a brother, 
Albert Thomas Johnson of Detroit.
Mr. Johnson was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and was a member of Stage Employees 
Union, Local 72.
A funeral service will be conducted at Hollomon Brown Funeral Home Sunday at 4 
p.m.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
