Frank Paul Johnson, 88, of the 2300 block of Bobtail Court, a retired 
longshoreman, died Sept. 21, 1992, in a nursing home.

Mr. Johnson was born in New York City. He was a member of International 
Longshoreman's Association and Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He was the widower of 
Nora Lynch Johnson.

Survivors include a daughter, Ann Bekier of Virginia Beach; two stepdaughters, 
Gerry Olsen of Bay Shore, N.J., and Catharine Brady of Virginia Beach; two sons, 
Frank P. Johnson of North Carolina and William J. Johnson of New Jersey; a 
stepson, Raymond J. Grant of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in Holy Spirit Catholic Church 
by the Rev. John Boddie. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may 
join the family from 7 to 9 p. m. today in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road 
Chapel, where a prayer service will be at 7:30 p. m. Memorial donations may be 
made to M.E. Cox Daycare Center.
