Norfolk - A funeral service will be held Sunday in Riddick Funeral Chapel for
John S. Johnson of 1212 Chapel street.  Mr. Johnson, who died Sept. 19 in a
hospital after a short illness, will be buried in Calvary Cemetery.

The Norfolk native was a son of Edward C. Johnson and Mrs. Nancy Johnson and the
husband of Mrs. Annie F. Johnson.  He retired after 35 years with Spicuzza Fruit
Company.

Surviving are four sons, Delvin, Rufus and Troy Tex;  two daughters, Mrs.
Johnson of Norfolk, and Wilbur Johnson of Ft. Campbell;  Dorothy Johnson and
Mrs. Geraldine Lee, and a brother, Paul E. Johnson Sr, all of Norfolk; and nine
grandchildren.
