Norfolk - Mrs. Sophronia Harding Johnson, 81, of 616 1/2 E. Princess Anne Road
died Friday in a Norfolk hospital after a long illness.

She was a native of Hickory, daughter of Pompey and Mrs. Georgiana Harding. She
lived in Norfolk 56 years.

She is survived by her husband, Matthew Johnson, and two brothers, Samuel
Harding and John Harding of Norfolk.

The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted in
Mount Zion Baptist Church today at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. W. O. DeLoatch, pastor.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
