Final rites for Gus Johnson, 1221 Covel street, Campostella who died October 13
at his residence at the age of 55 were held Oct. 17 at First Baptist Church with
the Rev. R. L. Harris officiating.

He was born in Scotland Neck, NC, and had lived in Norfolk 38 years. He was a
member of the Masons. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva Johnson; mother, Mrs.
Tama Johnson; one brother, Jesse Johnson. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with
Fitchetts Funeral Home in charge.
