Johnson, son of Greenleaf Johnson, of Baltimore, died at his residence on York Street Sunday morning, aged 43 years. Mr. Johnson was on of Norfolk’s most prominent businessmen. He had been ill for some time, but his death was not expected. He leaves a wife and child. Mr. Johnson was manager and treasurer of the Greenleaf Johnson Lumber Company, secretary and treasurer of the Chowan Railroad and Lumber Company of North Carolina and a member of the firm of Greenleaf Johnson and Sons, of Baltimore. He was a very bright business man and popular with a large number of persons.
