Mrs. Fannie Johnson, after an illness of a year, died at the residence of her
daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Wright, of Bute street, Wednesday
morning, December 5th. The funeral services were held at Grace P. E. Church,
Sunday, December 9th and was very largely attended. Archdeacon Jas. S. Russell
of St. Paul School and the rector, Rev. D. J. Lee, conducted the services. There
was a profusion of beautiful floral designs. The remains were laid to rest in
West Point Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Marie
Wright, three sons, a number of grandchildren and other relatives.
