The funeral of Mrs. Laura Locker Johnson, late of 1311 Chicazola street, was held 
Monday, August 17, at St. John’s A. M. E. Church, Dr. J. A. Young, the pastor, 
officiating. The deceased had been a faithful member of St. John’s Church for 31 
years and actively connected with several auxiliaries for a number of years. In 
her death the family and community lose one whose loving kindness and cheerful 
disposition will always be missed.
