Mrs. Mary Johnson, of Princess Anne County, departed this life on Friday, May 28, 
at Tidewater Hospital. Her funeral was held Sunday, May 30, at Ebenezer Baptist 
Church, Princess Anne County. The deceased is mourned by her husband, Mr. Armstead 
Johnson; four daughters, Mrs. Sarah Amppy, Mrs. Missouri Riddick, Mrs. Lillie 
Bunch, and Mrs. Esther Williams, all of Norfolk, and one sister, and sixteen 
grandchildren; five great- grandchildren.
