His back was broken by a fall while he was descending a pair of stairs at the fishery. He was brought to Norfolk and sent to St. Vincent’s Hospital. Almost his entire body was paralyzed, and from the moment of injury there was little hope for recovery. The deceased has a wife and child in Germany. It is not yet known what disposition will be made of the body.
