Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, April 1, 1998 
Donald ``Duck'' F. Johnson of the 800 block of W. 37th St. died March 28, 1998,
at his residence.

Born in Cheraw, S.C., he was a Methodist and a restaurant worker for Baker's Crust.

Survivors include a daughter, Domica Jackson of Washington, D.C.; three sons,
Donald Hudgins of Norfolk, Donald Johnson Jr. of Lawrenceville, Va. and Derrick
Jackson of Washington, D.C.; his mother, Frances Johnson and father, William B.
Johnson, both of Norfolk; three sisters, Valerie Turner and Frances Young, both
of Norfolk, and Pamela Murray of Richmond; two brothers, Jeffrey Johnson and
William E. Johnson Jr., both of Norfolk; four grandchildren; and a host of other
relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in the chapel of Carlos A. Howard
Funeral Home by the Rev. Jesse Featherstone. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery
. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3:30 p.m Thursday. The family will
assemble at the residence at 11 a.m. for the procession.
