The funeral of Miss Emma Johnson, who died March 9, was held at Shiloh Baptist 
Church, March 11.

Friends turned out in large numbers to pay the last respects to one of the most 
earnest and faithful workers. Floral designs were beautiful and numerous. Supt. J. 
Hurst, of the Norfolk County School, spoke very highly of Miss Johnson’s work. 
Rev. V. V. K. Stokes officiated. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
