Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha C. Johnson, who died Thursday, will be conducted 
tomorrow at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Mrs. Johnson was a former 
student of St. Francis de Sales, Rocastle; Norfolk Mission College; a graduate 
practical nurse of Booker T. Washington, and served for many years at St. Mary’s 
Infant Home. At the time of her death, she was on the staff at De Paul Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Cuthert L. Johnson; four daughters, Mrs. Venetia 
Grant, of Norfolk; Mrs. Frances Flemming, of Baltimore; Mrs. Bertha Jones, of 
Norfolk; and Mrs. Gertrude Hall, of Brooklyn; two sons, Cuthert L. Johnson, II, of 
Brooklyn, and John Victor Johnson, of Norfolk, and 17 grandchildren.
Rosary services will be held today at 8 p.m. at Morning Glory Funeral Home.
