VIRGINIA BEACH – Nora Mary Johnson, 85, of S. Plaza Trail, died Oct. 23, 1989, in 
a hospital.
Mrs. Johnson, a native of Boston, was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Frank P. Johnson; three daughters, Ann Bekier and 
Catharine Brady, both of Virginia Beach, and Gerry Olsen of Bay Shore, N.Y.; four 
sons, Edward Grant of Lindenhurst, N.Y., Raymond Grant of Las Vegas, Frank Johnson 
of East Amherst, N.Y., and William Johnson of Allentown, Pa.; 26 grandchildren and 
24 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in Holy Spirit 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Thomas J. Caroluzza. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s 
Mausoleum. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown 
Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, where a Christian wake service will be held at 8 
p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the church’s building fund.
