Landmark, November 2, 1915
Mrs. Margaret A. Johnson died early yesterday morning at her home, 1218 
Highland Avenue, following an hour's illness. Her death, which was due to 
acute indigestion, followed that of her husband, Charles C. Johnson, by just a 
few days. Mrs. Johnson was 60 years old and had lived in Norfolk 35 years, She 
leaves two daughters, Mrs. James W. Tarrant and Miss Olie Johnson, both of 
Norfolk. The funeral will take place at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon from the 
residence and will be conducted by Rev. E. P. Miner of St. Luke'e Church. 
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
