Virginian-Pilot  April 21, 1919
Mrs. Ada Stewart Johnson, a native of Washington. D.C., but for the past sixteen 
years a resident of Norfolk, died yesterday morning at the home of her brother-in-
law, Claude L. Curling, 212 Chapel street. She was 43 years old. The funeral 
services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock at St. Mary’s Catholic 
church, with interment in St. Mary’s cemetery. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. 
Jack Farris, of Washington, D.C., her sister, Mrs. Curling, and an aunt, Mrs. 
James Granager.
