In sad but loving remembrance of our dear foster mother, Mrs. Virginia Johnson, 
who departed this life Tuesday, January 8th, at her late residence, 827 Henry 
street. For fifty years she had been a member of Bank Street Baptist Church, and 
was a mother to all children. Funeral was held from Hale’s Chapel, Saturday, 
January 12th with Rev. Watkins officiating. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.

A precious one from us is gone,
A voice we loved is stilled
A place is vacant in our hears,
Which never can be filled.
