Norfolk - The body of a Norfolk youth was found in the east end of the 
Elizabeth River recently.  The youth, Thomas Johnson Jr., was a student at 
Maury High School.  Final rites were given at Union United Church of Christ.  
The Rev. Joseph Copeland officiated.  Interment followed in Calvary Cemetery 
with Metropolitan Funeral Home in charge.

A native of Norfolk, he was a son of Thomas and Mrs. Gloria Johnson Edmonds.

Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Katrina Johnson and Gloria 
Johnson, both of Norfolk;  and three brothers, Terry Johnson, Tony Johnson and 
Timothy Johnson, all of Norfolk.
