John A. Johnston, 44, a native of Norfolk, died Sept. 5, 1990, in his home.
Mr. Johnston was an Army veteran.
Survivors include a daughter, Neville Blair Johnston, and two sons, John Johnston 
Jr. and William G. Johnston, all of Raleigh; a sister, Cary Monet of Norfolk; and 
a brother, Thomas M. Johnston of Desert Hot Springs, Calif.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Elmwood Cemetery, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. Sydney C. Swann. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is 
handling arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the Episcopal Church of The Good Shepherd, 1520 
North Shore Road, Norfolk, Va. 23505.
