NORFOLK - Mary Olive Johnston, 94, of 3900 Llewellyn Ave., died Wednesday in a 
hospital.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, she formerly was employed at Norfolk and Southern 
Railroad and had retired from Norfolk Coal and Oil after 25 years. She was a 
member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Thomas J. Johnston of 
Virginia Beach.
A Joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 11 a.m. Saturday in Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
A Christian wake will be held at 7:30 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk.
