The body was taken to the funeral apartments of J.R. Williams. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the family residence, 10 Walnut Street. The find was made by the dead man's sons. A jury will view the body this morning and hear evidence at a time to be fixed next week. Mr. Jones was considered one of the best swimmers around the port, and it is believed that he was stunned when struck by the barge, else he would have taken care of himself. The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. A.W Shaw, pastor of Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church and burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery. ******** JONES - Drowned, in the Eastern Branch of the Elizabeth river, Wednesday evening, June 23, 1915, at 6:30 o'clock, NATHAN SIDNEY JONES, son of the late Nathan and Catherine Jones, Isle of Wight County, aged 67 years. Funeral services will be conducted at the family residence, 10 Walnut street, THIS (Saturday) AFTERNOON, June 26, at 3 o'clock. Interment in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends invited.
