The Virginian Pilot Monday July 23, 1973
Mrs. Emily McCoy Moser Jones, 79, of 2628 Grandy Ave., the wife of Raymond 
L. Jones, died Sunday at 5 p.m. in a hospital.
A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of Charles F. and Mrs. Kate Deane 
McCoy.
She was a member of Fairmount Park United Methodist Church, Towanda 
Pocahontas Council 8, Harbor Rebekah Lodge 37, Edgewater Council 27, 
Daughters of America, Faith Council 26, Sons and Daughters of America, and 
Senior Citizens Club.
Besides her husband, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Katherine M. Marks of 
Norfolk; a son, Pat L. Moser Sr. of Chesapeake; six grandchildren; and two 
great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Cox Funeral Chapel by 
the Rev. David F. Jarvis. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
