The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Tuesday September 11, 1928
William Willis Jones, aged 57, died at the residence, Lake Smith, Princess 
Anne County, yesterday afternoon at 6:30 o'clock after a long illness.  He 
is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elnora Mordica Jones; two sons, P.L. and W.W. 
Jones Jr.; a daughter, Mrs. William G. Mitchell, of Southgate, Calif., and a 
brother, M.M. Jones, of Lake Smith.  Mr. Jones was formerly a resident of 
Norfolk, but had been a resident of Princess Anne for the last seven years, 
where he was engaged in the grocery business.  He was a member of Elizabeth 
Lodge No. 54, A.F.& A.M.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
corner Twenty-ninth and Granby streets, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock.  
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
