The Virginian Pilot Friday February 28, 1958
Thomas Wiley Jones, 76, husband of Mrs. Lanetta Jones and son of Thomas L. 
and Mrs. Lavinia Caroline Etheridge Jones, died at a Norfolk hospital 
yesterday at 6:30 p.m.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. W.H. Overstreet of 
Raleigh, N.C., and Mrs. Stephen A. Lipscomb of Franklin, and several nieces 
and nephews.
Mr. Jones was a native of Columbia, N.C., and had been a resident of Norfolk 
for 45 years, residing at 8454 Radnor Rd.  He was a member of Christ 
Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home 
Saturday at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
