The Virginian Pilot Friday April 6, 1956
SOUTH NORFOLK - Fred Ferdinand Jones, 68, of 1426 Bainbridge Blvd., a 
retired groceryman of South Norfolk, died yesterday at 2:15 a.m. in a 
Norfolk hospital after a short illness.
A native of Camden County, N.C. he had lived in South Norfolk most of his 
life. His parents were Webster and Mrs. Seena Elizabeth Etheridge Jones. He 
was a member of the South Norfolk Baptist Church.
Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. Winnard L. McCoy and Mrs. J.L. Forrest, both 
of South Norfolk.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Graham Funeral 
Home. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will assemble at 1206 
Jefferson St., South Norfolk.
