The Norfolk Virginian Pilot September 7, 1954
Mrs. Sarah Frances Jones, 79, widow of M.N. Jones, died at a Norfolk hospital 
yesterday at 8 p.m. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William H. Layman, of 
Lake Smith; a grandson, Allen J. Gettel, of Urbanna, and several nieces and 
nephews. Mrs. Jones was a lifelong resident of Princess Anne County.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
