Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, October 24, 1991
Willie Jones of the 800 block of C Ave., a retired longshoreman, died Oct. 22,
1991, in a hospital.

Mr. Jones was born in Norfolk. He was a member of International Longshoreman's
Association, New Calvary Baptist Church and Eastern Light Lodge 4.

Survivors include his wife, Wilhehmena Jones; a son, Charlie E. Jones of
Norfolk; a sister, Mable Riddick of Baltimore; four grandchildren; three
step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in New Calvary Baptist Church
by the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will
assemble at the residence. The body will be placed in the church at 9:30 a.m.
Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
