Final rites for Mrs. Lizzie Jones, a native of Greenville, NC, were held at 
St. Mark Christian Church, Sunday Sept. 22, with the pastor, the Rev. D. P. 
Butts, conducting.  She died in a Norfolk hospital after a long illness.  
Mrs. Jones was the wife of the late Moses Jones Sr.

Mrs. Jones is survived by three daughters, Miss Annie Lee Jones and Mrs. 
Marjorie Combs of Norfolk;  and Mrs. Blanche Bell of Petersburg;  four sons, 
William H., Clifton E., of Philadelphia, Moses Jr. of New York;  and Charles 
Jones of Lauderdale, Fl and other relatives.

Pretlow Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.  Interment was in 
Calvary Cemetery.
