 Portsmouth - Annie Lee Patton Jones entered her heavenly home Sunday, 
December 11, 2011. She will join her parents, Robert and Vivian Terry 
Patton; her husband Frederick Douglas Jones and her sister and brothers. She 
leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Vivian Jones Pharr (Randolph), 
Catherine Jones Reid (Charles) and Mary Jones Taylor (Graylin); her sons, 
Frederick Jones , Jr. (Gloria) and Phillip L. Jones ; grandchildren, Kindall 
Craig Maddox (Lamont), Chera Reid (Brian Tutt), John E. Craig, Jr., Amber E. 
Taylor, Jason E. Jones , Austin D. Jones , Vivian P. Jones , Phillip L. 
Jones , Jr., Alicia Scott and Mia Jones Blom (Jacob), great grandchildren, 
nieces, nephews, cousins, sister in laws and friends will remember her quiet 
and gentle spirit. A funeral service will be held, 11 a.m., Thursday, 
December 15, 2011 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 728 Effingham St. Portsmouth, 
Va. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m., Wednesday, Metropolitan 
Funeral Service, 5605 Portsmouth Blvd. Interment will be held at Calvary 
Cemetery, Norfolk, Va. Condolences offered to the family at
