Norfolk Journal and Guide, Nov 9,1957

Mrs. Mary Jones, 1720 Melon street, died at her residence October 27 at 
12:30 a.m.

She was a member of Good Samaritan Lodge and Second Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her father, Columbus Taylor;  one daughter, Hester 
Taylor;  three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services were held November 3 at 1:30 p.m. at the Second Calvary 
Baptist Church.  Rev. Mr. Walker, pastor, officiated.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with the Morning Glory Funeral Home in 
charge.
