Norfolk Journal and Guide, May 5,1956
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jones who resided at 1129 Lancaster street and 
died April 12, were held April 15 at Trinity A.M.E. Church with the pastor, Rev. 
Mr. Barker, officiating.  She was the daughter of the late Harriet and Henry 
Beamon and survived by her husband, Joseph Jones;  one daughter, Mrs. Fannie 
Miles;  one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Beamon and a host of nieces and nephews.  
Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
