Norfolk Journal and Guide, Nov 10,1962
Samuel Jones, 60, a butcher, received final rites Wednesday at Riddick Funeral 
Home.  He died Nov. 2 in a Norfolk hospital.

The Rev. Vannie Parker Sr. officiated at the service for the Norfolk native.  
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.  Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosa 
Jones.
