Virginian Pilot December 21, 1988

Cora Elizabeth Jones, of the 1100 block of Pelham St., died Dec. 17, 1988 in a 
hospital.
Mrs. Jones, a native of Northampton County, Va., was a member of First Baptist 
Church, Logan Park.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas D. Jones; a daughter, Valerie Jackson of 
Norfolk; and a sister, Ruby Merritt of New York City.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church, Logan 
Park, by the Rev. B.O. Moody. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Graves Funeral 
Home is handling arrangements. Friends may join the family at 525 W. 34th St., 
Apartment 14.
