Norfolk - Harry Jones of 1344 Wide street, the husband of Mrs. Mildred Jones, 
died in his home recently.

A native of Princess Anne county, he was a son of the late Thomas  and Mrs. 
Victoria Jones.

He was retired from ILA Local 1248 and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, 
Virginia Beach, VA.

Besides his widow, surviving are a son, Raymond Jones of Norfolk;  a daughter, 
Mrs. Evelyn Woods of New York;  three brothers, Linwood Jones, Milton Jones, and 
Lucius Jones;  and five sisters, Mrs. Mildred Williams, Mrs. Carrie Brinkley, 
Mrs. Helen Daly, Miss Florine Jones, and Mrs. Delia Ames, all of Norfolk.

A funeral service was held in C. H. Mason Memorial Church by the Rev. David L. 
Williams.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in charge.
