Norfolk Journal and Guide, Feb 19,1966
Norfolk - A funeral service arranged by Riddick Funeral Home was conducted Sunday 
in Metropolitan AME Zion Church for Mrs. Bettie Grant Jones of 1023 Barney 
street.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones, a retired practical nurse, was the widow of the Rev. William Jones 
and a daughter of the late William Grant and Louisa Grant.

The Newsoms native is survived by a sister, Mrs. Sarah Chamberlain of Norfolk.
