Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, June 19, 1992 
Walter Linwood Jones of the 1400 block of Gabriel Drive, a retired cement
finisher, died June 17, 1992, in a hospital.

Mr. Jones was born in Norfolk and was a member and deacon of Bethlehem Baptist
Church. He had retired from R.D. Lambert & Sons after more than 30 years. He was
a Navy veteran of World War II and an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his mother, Mary F. Walker of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Bethlehem Baptist Church
by the Rev. L.P. Watson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join
the family at the residence. The body will be placed in church at 11 a.m. Hale
Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
