Virginian Pilot March 8, 1900

Bessie L., the 7-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Sidney Jones, died 
yesterday morning about 4:30 o'clock after a brief illness of pneumonia.  The 
funeral will take place from the residence this morning at 11 o'clock and will 
be conducted by Rev. Robert Gatewood, rector of St. Paul's Church, after which 
the remains will be interred in Magnolia Cemetery.

The funeral of Bessie, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.S. Jones, was 
conducted from the residence on North street yesterday morning at 11 o'clock by 
Rev. Robert Gatewood, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.  Despite the 
inclement weather there were a large number present.  At the conclusion of the 
services the remains were interred in Magnolia Cemetery.
