Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark November 27, 1919
Miss Mary E. Jones, aged 50 years, died yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the 
family residence, 73 Liberty street extended, South Norfolk, after a long illness. 

She was a daughter of Daniel W. and Mrs. Carrie Etheridge Jones, Pasquotank 
County, N.C. and is survived by two brothers, W.J. ad F.F. Jones and three nieces, 
Misses Marion and Hazel Jones and Mrs. J.L. Forrest, all of South Norfolk.
The funeral will be conducted at the above residence Friday morning at 10:30 
o'clock and burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
